It's weird, I have plenty of time, I’m only 13, which is not exactly late in my life. But I tried praying to God a few times, just asking for advice and stuff. Not sure if it worked, since I don't really get responses. Is it normal to doubt God sometimes? Cause I know the chances of us not having a god, or an intelligent creator are next to nothing, but there’s this part of my brain that keeps using logic that I learned from other people, what it should be ‘scientifically.’ How do I get rid of my doubt and solidly believe in the lord?"

Yet we read in Matthew 19 about a rich man who approached Jesus with a question-‘what must I do to receive salvation?’ Jesus mentions all of the commandments which the rich man claims to have followed but then asks “what am I lacking”? Jesus then advised him to sell all of his belongings and give the money to the poor. Why did Jesus not simply say to trust in Him as his savior?"

In this episode, Dr. Betters answers the question, "What is the true meaning behind Timothy 5:8? I have been trying my best to understand this scripture and am still confused by it. It says "Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." Is this implying that even if you are a Christian believer who has trusted/put their faith and Jesus, that if they fail to provide for their family, that they are worse than someone who doesn't believe in Jesus? I find that hard to comprehend how those 2 people would be put into the same category. Am I missing something?"
